Saskatchewan Indigenous Storytelling Month is held in February of every year. Various activities are planned to celebrate stories and to introduce storytellers to their communities, with a new theme selected each year by Library Services to Saskatchewan Aboriginal Peoples Inc. (LSSAP) and materials produced to enhance local programing.
Visit the LSSAP website to learn about the goals and background of Saskatchewan Indigenous Storytelling Month, which originally began in 2004 as Saskatchewan Aboriginal Storytelling Month. Stay updated on events happening across the province by following the LSSAP Facebook page, and for events happening across the north, check out the Pahkisimon Nuyeʔáh Library System Facebook page.
