Aboriginal Storytelling Month

Aboriginal Storytelling Month is held in February every year. Various activities are planned to celebrate stories and introduce storytellers to their communities. Each year a new theme is selected by Library Services to Saskatchewan Aboriginal Peoples Inc. (LSSAP) and materials are produced to enhance local programming.

Last year’s, 2016, SAS was the biggest one yet with 394 sessions held in 126 locations with attendance of 18,248!
